A Muslim only uses language that is befitting upon a Muslim. They say what they mean and mean what they say. Quran commands us to not call names that are lowly in nature.

For simplicity, the part that is in bold applies to you:

O you who believe let not a person scoff another person who may be better than themselves, not let women (jeer, mock, label wrongly) from those women who may be better than they are; neither defame one another, nor insult one another by nicknames. Bad is the name of lewdness after faith. And whosoever does not make a repentance, then such are wrong doers.

Thus based on the tafseer of the above ayah, a Muslim cannot call another by the name of the filthy animal you have made mention of.

A parent can admonish a child by saying, you are keeping your room ‘messy like a pigsty,’ in such an instance the ‘label’ would function as part of reprimanding a person and telling them as to what they should not emulate. To call someone the name you have made mention of would be lowly claim on the part of the one doing so.

A apology should be given by the perpetrator who shared such an evil label.

We must call people by nice names and label them in a manner that shows respect and love between persons. Islam does not eliminate pet names, nicknames, etc. Names must not be offensive or degrading to ones dignity, race, gender, etc. It must show affection between persons. This is part of Islam.
