Q. I am told a Muslim cannot work as a bouncer at a night club. Why not?

A. Personally, I do not know if your question is a joke or a reality. But I would assume you are serious.

No, a Muslim should not work and cannot work as a bouncer.  Nigh clubs earn their money through alcohol consumption, and other paraphernalia that makes being part of that environment haraam. To be in an environment that aids in people forgeting Allah (subhanhu wa ta’aala) in wrong.  Clubing and actions that resemble it are ctions (with sparing you the details of many more) in direct contradiction to the shari’ah.

I hope this simple answer can start to get you focused on a more respectable occupation or career of choice.
