Q:Dream I had about a month and a half ago- I see that my father and I are in a dirty, small pawn shop type place. (Again concept is given that he is already dead but he I can see him.) It seems that the way things work is that the dead person must make his own funeral arrangements before being washed, buried, etc. So I am with my father and he is making arrangements with the owner of the pawn shop and then when we are leaving the pawn shop, I hear someone offering condolences to me. (Even though I can see my father in front of me) I have had few more dreams like this, but they were few months back so I cannot remember the details as clear as I can remember the details of the last 3 dreams I had. My father had a heart attack in October but these dreams started few months before that and continued after. Total number of dreams is probably 6. I did not wake up out of fear from any of the dreams I explained above.

A: Generally, death with preparation of a burial implies that a person has hit rock bottom on religious matters. This means that the person will not change and positive change will be difficult and with much struggle.  Shaytan will trouble this person a lot and this person will be inclined a lot towards worldly matters. People around such a person will also be influenced by them.

So does the above mean you a bad person? No. It merely means Allah ((SWT) is trying to guide you with this dream. Allah (SWT) wants you to make good decisions. Read more salah, more Quran and listen to a good tafseer,  give charity to the poor and be kind to those around you. Ask Allah (SWT) for forgiveness and be the best person ever.
