A: If your employer needs you and that which you are working for is additionally halal (religiously permissible), there would be no problem in you working at your job or even working overtime.

To sell that which is halal (permissible) would always be permissible to sell. To sell things that are forbidden would always be forbidden to sell, regardless of the time period (Christmas, thanksgiving, etc)
