Q: In ramadaan they do salattul tasbeeh in jamaat and the imaam encourages us to join. Is this a sunnah? Bidah? Wajib? Is salatul tasbeeh in religion or just something people do?

A: To do it in group form and encouraging people to do in such a manner is not correct. Salat ul tasbeeh should be encouraged and done by a person at least once in their life. It should be done individually.

Rasulullah (SAW) educated Sayidinah Abbas (RA) regarding its significance, therefore it is part of sunnah.
