Q: how can a woman bath when water has to go into her virgina and her fast get invalid. Is this not a contradiction? (email)

A: Water going into the female organ (as questioned by you) does invalidate her fast. However, for a ghusal to go through, water does not need to go inside her female organ.

As a precautionary measure, whenever possible, have your bath before your fast begins.
