Q: Can I be a mahram for my mother-in-law. It is for umrah. My wife cannot get of (work) for umrah? (Email)

A: Yes, one can accompany her as mahram.

However, in the days of corruption, we recommend that you limit the private time spent and interaction time with  your mother in law.

Allah Certainly Knows Best.
