I would like to know about gold if men are forbidden from wearing gold jewelry such as ring etc. Also, if it is OK to dye hair if they are young but have grey hair? Imran Khan

Part 1) Narrated by Ibn Abbaas (RA): (Imam Nasai)

‘I was forbidden (to adorn) red garments and gold rings and to recite Quran in ruku.’

For medical reasons or due to a diagnosed need as evaluated by a good/pious set of doctors and scholars, gold, etc, it would be allowed.

Part 2) You can dye it one even one color shade.

(The punk look or even a mild version of it would not qualify.)

Black dye cannot be worn under general circumstances.

Streaking the hair as part of fashion is not allowed. To conceal only white hairs would be allowed.
