Q: I own a gas station. i sell some meat products. bacon strips, hot dogs beef jerky and other stuff  I was told so long as i sell it to nonmuslims it is okay.  now some brothers came to the station and told me the money is haram. Is this true?

A: Selling meat that is haram is haram. Haram meat is impure and we cannot consume it nor can we even give it to humans and/or animals for consumption.

Money attained from haram is naturally haram. This money must be subtracted from halal earnings and should be given in charity to the poor without the intention of reward.

Allah Certainly Knows Best.

(Mufti kifayatullah’s fatwa kitab also states that such meat is impure and haram.)
