Q: My mother alive. Can I give qurbani from her side? And this will be enough for whole  family ?. My family details are below.

My mother ( head of my family) Myself . My wife.My daughter 12years. My son 11 year.My son 7 years

A: If your mother qualifies and has the amount of nisab to her name, she would need to give you consent to do a qurbani on her behalf. Her consent would allow you to do one for her.

If your children are mature and possess the amount of nisab to their name, it would be wajib for them to do a Qurbani as well. It appears that the 11 year old boy may not be islamically mature, thus he may be excused, so would the 7 year old.
