Q: My dad died three weeks ao. A week before he died my parents were divorced. My mother was in her iddah when dad died. Now that my dad died does her iddah end. Also at what point can she re-marry?

A: Her iddah would continue despite your fathers passing away. Once her inddah is complete, then only can she remarry.  (See fatwa alamgiri: volume1)
