Q: I need clarification. During haidh (menses) I miss prayers do I make up the missed prayer. I am doing it and I am told no. fast makeup. right? (email)
Answers:
- A woman during her menses is excused from performing her prayers. She would not do a makeup for the missed prayers.
- As for fasting, she would not fast during her menses, she would do a makeup for the missed fast.
- Out of mere preference, she should make up her missed fast at her earliest convenience.
