Q: asalamwalaikum….i want to ask that is covering our face with naqab is compulsary or can we jst wear a scarf?????without naqab…plz reply me

Niqab is wajib. (Very imperative sunnah.) Greatly recommended for a young (attractive) woman that has in her the ability to entice men. For her to not wear it would be a sin — for her action of not doing so is promoting sin.
Under general conditions, scarf that is properly draped would also suffice for elderly woman or under conditions that make the wearing of Niqab unbearable.
