Can you please help clarify what was read and ow it was read. I recall my teacher saying something similar to us in Somalia when I was young and just need a refresher? Answer1: As Ibraheim (AS) was to move the knife upon his child, a ram appeared with a set of angles reciting Allah Who Akbar, Allalh Who Akbar (meaning Allah is absolutely the Greatest.) When Ibraheim (AS) heard these words, he responded by saying: la ilaha Illala who Wallah who Akbar (There is none worthy of worship except Allah who is the Greatest.) Ismaeel (AS) notices this dialogue and upon realizing that his (AS) father and him (AS) where unbound from this trial, Ismaeel (AS) responded by saying Allah who Akbar walillaa hill hamd (Allah is the Greatest and for Him is all Praise.)

Answer2: Thus, in appreciation of the ???? ???? ???? ???? ?? ??? ??? ???? ????? ???? ???? ???? ???? ????? Muslims repeat them from the fajar of the  9^th of Zhul Hijjah to the Asr of the 13^th of Zul hijjah.  (Kindly observe Fatawa of shami for greater discourse on this matter.)

One highly accepted version of its recital would be as follows:

• This Takbeer  should be read (wajib) by men after the Imaam completes the Salah in Jamat (group form) in a city. (This simple rule also adds to the virtue of performing salah in group form.)
• Villagers would not be bound to do so. However, them doing it would be rewarding.
• Woman and travelers do not need to read it, however, it is virtuous for them to do so. (Some major imaams do call for woman to reciete it as part of wojoob, we merely differ on the wojoob part)
• Females should reciete it in a low tone, not in the likes of men.
• Should the Imaam fail to read it, followers should not wait for him, they can merely start its recital.
• Once would be the minimum, three times would be more rewarding and a more accepted practice.

As for answer2 a difference of opinion does exist as to the start time for its saying as well as its end point, however doing as indicated above in answer2 would also be accepted should a person not know better.
