Hope you will be in good state of Eman and health.
Alhamdulillah, I am going to Hajj this year with my family.
I have few questions regarding this Hajj activities. Could you please clarify these?
1) Once we do rami, sacrifise, halq/qasr, tawaf ziyarat on 10th Dhil Hajj still we need to be there in mina on 11th and 12th of Dhil Hajj?
2) I heard from some other Hajis that once after wearing Ihram, if we take bath we cannot dry our hairs on head using towel and we should leave as it is wet. Is it true?
3) I heard from some other Hajis that we should buy gold as first thing in Madina. Is it true?
4) Is it necessary to wear white clothes and new clothes for women also in Ihram?
5) Can women perform Hajj/Umrah during Mensuration period also?
6) Is it necessary for women to cover their face during hajj/umra? I heard that women should wear hat and then wear the weil so that cloth will not touch face during Ihram stage. Is it true?
7) Can a woman put on the ihram whise in menses? Can she say the talbiya? (separate email)
8)What is the dumm for hair been taken out? I sometimes scrath my head.
Please if you help me answer these questions, I will be very greatful to you.

Answer1: For a person to stay in Mina after the rami, sacrifise, halq/qasr, tawaf ziyarat is wajib.
Question2: I heard from some other Hajis that once after wearing Ihram, if we take bath we cannot dry our hairs on head using towel and we should leave as it is wet. Is it true?
Answer2: This is false.
Question 3: I heard from some other Hajis that we should buy gold as first thing in Madina. Is it true?
Answer3: This is false.

Answer 4: This is false.
Question 5: Can women perform Hajj/Umrah during Mensuration period also?
Answer 5: Yes, women can performing her hajj cannot enter the Musjid, however, other than entering the musjid, she can do all that which is necassry and all that which releates to the hajj. TO reiterate, since most of the things done in her menses is out of the musjid, she can do them all EXCEPT go into the musjid. To enter the musjid, she would have to await the completion of her menses. Should she enter the musjid, a damm (penalty payment) would have to be given. (If two opinions exist, use the one with caution! After all, it is your hajj)
Question 6: Is it necessary for women to cover their face during hajj/umra? I heard that women should wear hat and then wear the weil so that cloth will not touch face during Ihram stage. Is it true?
Answer 6: Allah (SWT) has made matters easy for her; she must opt for that which Allah has given her leeway in. She could cover her face in a manner that does not allow the cloth to touch her face; however, lacking caution would call for a penalty (dumm). When Allah has made matters easy, follow the pathway of ease.
Question 7: Can a woman put on the ihram whise in menses? Can she say the talbiya?
Answer 7: Yes, she can put on the ihram and read the talbiya.
Question 8: What is the dumm for hair been taken out? I sometimes scratch my head and hair follicles come out.
Answer8: Every hair taken out requires the equivalent of one date to be given. You can give a date or its value in money.
