Q: Is the stuff that comes out of your ear impure? Isthe  thick layer of mucus impure? Does it break Whudhu?

A: The wax ( or dirt) removed from your ear is not impure. Mucus itself is not impure. (Mucus mixed with blood, etc would be a different matter.)

These are not breakers of whudhu.
