Q. do we have a choice of reading magrib, Isha amd fajr softly and not loudly?

Q. Can we read zohr and asr loudly?

Answer:

• Person performing salaah alone can perform all the above mentioned salaah softly. All that would be recommended is that the person reads to the extent they can hear what they are reciting themselves. This reciting would be inclusive of an extremely soft whisper

• If one is reading Fajr, Magrib or Isha Salaah with jamat, then the imaam must recite in a tone wherein those behind him can hear what is being read. As for Zohr and Asr, the Imaam must read the qirat softly.
