Q: Can husband and wife do joint Qurbani? Can they share the money and buy animal for sacrifice?

A: Two people cannot join in on a single share. One share, one person. This wold apply to goats, sheep, etc These are one share animals.

However, if they have a seven share animal, the husband can choose to buy a single share, the wife can buy a separate single share, this was they can purchase 2 shares and each can take benefit from this animal.

The person that gave money to the other individual to do a Qurban InshaAllah would get reward, however, that matter is entirely separate.
