Q:Hi I calculated my zakat on ur website zakat calculater.the answer was £0.00.can u please reply to me my email is as above and this is how i did it,I put value of my gold which is £12,240 in value any my debt are 100000 and then the answer was £0.00 is this right please let me now if I did this right jazakallah khair

A: Having a £100 000 debt while owning £12 240 amount of total assets would not qualify you to give zakat.

Should you wish, you are welcome to give sadaqah, so as to not lose the habit of giving charity.

May Allah (SWT) make your financial matters easy. Read Ya ghaniyyu and Ya Razzaqu as often as you can. Think of Allah (SWT) in positive terms and Allah (SWT) would treat you positively as well.
