Q: Why do some people say that we can pay riba but now earn riba?

A: Who are these ‘some people?’ Are they qualified scholars? Does Quran, Hadith and Sunnah side with them? Kindly furnish details.

We are of the opinion as seen in tradition, earning and giving Riba are both not allowed in Islam.
