The knowledge of the unseen is matter specific to Allah alone. No individual can attain such knowledge except if Allah conveys (that given knowledge to ) the person from His Side or via Ilham (special insight) in the manner of a mirical (as achieved by prophets)… (al-Nibras)

Allah (SWT) had given secret and private information to Prophets (peace be upon them all) for the reformation and benefit of fulling His task on earth. To deny this in its absolute manner would be tantamount to kuffar (disbelief).
