Q: How do you know if your dreams have any meaning? When should we get them interpreted by a Imam?

Answer:

• One can seek  interpretation at any point in time. Some dreams just feel like they have more attributed to them, in such an instance you can call upon a trusted person, friend, person of knowledge to assist in its meaning.
• One cannot know for sure the meaning and outcome of a dream. This only Allah (SWT) knows. It is not part of good habit to seek meaning for every dream. It is not good to depend on dreams for every matter.
• Dreams remain a mixture and a range from good to bad for the average person. Thus, dreams are either 1) saintly, 2) bad 3) as a consequence of our everyday thoughts. You must try to figure out in which of the three categories it was for a better evaluation.
