Ring and toilet

Q: Whenever my family comes from Umra, they bring us rings. These rings have Allah and quran written on them.  If the ring has Allah written on it, what is the hukm of going the bathroom with it?

A: According to Fatwa Hindiya (1-50) it is (extremely) disliked to enter the toilet with a ring on the finger upon which the Name of Allah or quran is written.

If the ring must be worn, remove it; place it in your purse, handbag out of respect for the inscription.

Allah Certainly Knows Best.
