Wishing you the very best in health and prosperity as well, Ameen.
The Quran does not have a description that states: for your salah you must pray in the following exact manner. For Hajj you must use United Airlines. For Zakat you must only pay in dinaars and not dollars. Rules of salah, zakat, hajj, etc. are derived from quran and hadith and the corrections Rasulullah (SAW) made upon both genders.
Your question has been outlined elsewhere: http://islaminaction.wordpress.com/2009/07/29/male-versus-female-prayer
As we also said elsewhere:
Many things are not written in the Quran. For example, you would not find in the quran that one must come to ‘America,’ study medicine at Harvard or Stanford, give 2.5% zakat, the exact timings of a particular salah is 5:15am for several days in a row, sit on a table and chair as one attends school, go for yearly dental checkups, etc. Many rules are derived from ayah of the Quran in conjunction with the hadith and sunnah.
Finally, Islam has laid down its laws in the form of Quran, Hadith and sunnah. Those that have been fortunate to attain keen understanding of the Hadith, Quran and sunnah can best assist with its distinction and articulation. Just as you do not debate with your surgeon prior to him/her placing a blade into you, there is no need to question hadith and sunnah when it has proven itself as authentic as per jurists. To deny this fact can lead to disbelief (kufr).
We thank you for your question. Kindly resend if we remain unclear. Glad to be of service. Glad to help in clarifying the necessary. Glad to clarify what remains important to many. May Allah (SWT) bless you. Ameen
