Q. what is the opinion if a person dies and has nail polish on. The ghusal was completed, and then only is was known that she had nail polish on.

A. The ghusal with nail polish would be viewed as incomplete. The nail polish should have been removed for a complete ghusal to occur. Thus, we always recommend our sisters to use henna and other like products instead of nail polish. Using nail polish can become problematic in its effective removal, thus adversely affecting your ghusal.

(p.s. Nail polish should also be removed when praying your regular five daily salaah.)
