Q: Assalamu Aalykum Imam,

I bought a 100% boar bristle brush recently. I didn’t know it was made out of pig hair, therefore I’ve been using it for 2 days. I feel impure and am so ashamed of myself. How do I clean myself?

A: Walaikumsalam,

Due to the possible mixing of wetness or moisture of the hair with the impure (najis) bristles, merely wash your hair. As for the brush itself, merely dispose of it.
