Q: Assalamu alaikum.

My niece have got married without parents consent through Court (with aqd & kabin nama made). As per law of sariah “Marriage without parents consent” is batil. They are live separately from us. Now we can want to solve it . we want to correcting their marriage (batil) to follow sariah law.  any way for us.
Please this is so much urgent.

• The nikah would be valid if the parties are muslim, mature, sane, etc.
• It appears that since all parties as well as the guardians of the woman agree that the couple can be accepted by the family a wedded couple, merely do a ‘renewal’ of the original nikah.  This would help in removing any evil ideas and temptations from the side of shaytan.
