Assalaamualaykum
Last night I was very proud to be a Muslim in Utah, and very happy to be able to attend the Khadeeja Mosque. To hear these young boys perform taraweeh, and they are all still just students, was a constant source of amazement and inspiration throughout the whole of Ramadan, alhamdulillah. They are Utah’s First Huffaz to perform in public at such an early start, and we can already see the good influence they and the Imam are having on other newer centers in the state mashaAllah, which are rushing to imitate everything that is being done at the Khadeeja Mosque. They say that ‘imitation is the sincerest form of flattery’–so you boys and the Imam should feel very flattered! : )
As a community, we should all be very happy at what we have all had the good fortune to hear over the last month. The Taraweeh Boys are blessed, and we are blessed to have prayed behind them. May Allaah the Beneficent continue to shower them with blessings and guidance ameen.
Let’s hear an amen from all the people in the community for Utah’s First Huffaz, inshallah!
