Q: i started my fast. read fajr. went back to bed. i vomited. i did keep the fast. i am told to repeat this fast. 17 hours is a lot of redo. do i redo it? Does mouthful rule apply. i heard something a while back Please answer before end of ramadhan.(text)

A:It appears that this vomiting was not voluntary in nature. Thus, your fast would not break even though it was more than a mouthful. To induce such a vomiting would negate your fast. You did not induce it, thus your fast remained intact.
