Quran — no better month for it

Q: Salam Alaikum Imam, I am inshallah going to start memorizing some new surahs in the quran. However, i know that there are some surahs that females in particular should memorize if they can, but i am not sure of all of the ones exactly. So i was wondering if you could recomend thsoe surahs for me? Also is it fine to memorize surahs out of order or is it better to go in order when memorizing, for instance if you start on baqarah then make your way down to surah nas?
Jasakallah.
P.S: are there any helpful tips you can give me for memorizing in an efficient manner?

I appreciate your question. There is no better time than Ramadaan to work on the following. May you be blesed, Ameen.

I recommend that you memorize surahs (click here on how to memorize) that you are most inclined towards. For woman, I recommend surah Baqarah as well as the last three Juzz (28, 29 and 30.) These surah you must memorize and teach it to children as well. Additionally, learn and read Surah Yassin, Waqiyah, Mulk, Kalf, Muzzamil, Dhukhan, Jinn and Arrahman, etc. on a regular basis.  Read them all each day and I assure a lot of tranquility would come your way, insha-allah, Ameen. (These Surahs would also be enjoyed by you.)

Hope you and your family have a blessed Ramadan.

Allah Certainly Knows Best.
