Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullah,

I wanted to know how to make kaffara for a vow (verbal) that I wasn’t able to fulfill.  Is it permissible to send money abroad to have poor people fed (depending on what the shariah stipulates)? How do I calculate this amount?
