السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Do you know that Ramadan is right around the corner? What, you’re saying! It’s a whole four months away, we hear you exclaim. However, as we all love to complain, time flies, and no time is that more obvious than when the month of fasting comes fast upon us.

In the spirit of getting our souls in the mood for the blessed month, the Imam and his Hifz (Quran memorization) students will, tonight, be starting a completion of the Qur’an during the Fajr, Maghrib and Isha prayers at the Khadeejah Mosque. The Qur’an will be recited in continuity from now until Ramadan, and in this way the students will both have the opportunity to improve their memorization and increase their confidence. Those who would desire to be a part of this pre-Ramadan endeavor are welcome to perform their salaah in jama’ah, and hit, as they say, two birds with one stone.

The Imam and his students look forward to seeing you for salaat at the Masjid Khadeejah.
