student concerns: i just sleep a lot… feel i lost contact with the Creator

Q: 2. A) Since XXXXX semester I have been sleeping a lot, and i believe stress might play a role in this. I have to end up getting 8 hours of sleep, and sometimes i sleep more. Its sad because I cant get a lot done in my day because most i spent sleeping. I did try to read dua, have the intention to do something good, but after I pray fajr i used to be up to study but now i just go to sleep till later in the day. ‘couple is not practicing or learning Islam’

Q: A born Muslims girl from a very good family fell in love with an Athiest boy (same age 17) and started to live with his family and wanted to marry each other. The Muslims mother cried and finally asked them to convert so that they can at least marry in a muslim way (nikah). The boy and girl said yes and got married when they were 19 in a Mosque. Now some say that after the marriage, the couple is not practicing or learning Islam and keeping the same routine they had before. Her sister once said that the girl once said that there is no God and she does not believe in any organised religion. But when she talks to her family, she says salam and Khudahafiz etc. What is this Muslim family supposed to do in this case? They pray everyday that they become Muslim openly and practice it as much as possible.
What this world is coming to. May Allah save our children from such disaster.

how much more do i give?

i loaned my husband money many times. i was embaresed to say no because we were high school friends that got married. my father did so to because he saw i loved him. it is setting a bad example for my kids. the kids are manipulated and he tells them how selfish i am when i refuse to give 20 000 to 30 000 at a time. hhis has being going on for11 yres str8. lately he uped it to takig 40 000 at a time. his business does good money and the accountants agree. he wants more. he wants it for bussiness only so he says. to me he just buys suits, sports car evey yr, goes on vacation with his parents. he just likes free money he is getting to be a free loader and my children are learning this. my question is this. do owman have a right to say no? what are my options as a woman that is muslimah and wealthy that is married to a poor low life man that jsut wants wants and wants. as for zakat. your friday speech was not clear who what pays on loan money. can you clarify?
