1) I have no marriage pressure. So you barking up the wrong tree with me this question.

2) Sheikhs only talk about what you ask them. Or at least this is the way i function to an extent. (It would help to view our demographics!) You are welcome to ask those who pose marital queries as to why they are doing so.

3) I can only stop addressing the matter if people stop sending us questions and comments about marriage. Sometimes by asking why others talk about such matters, we allow ourselves to create a situation in which the  matter continues to brew.

4) Financial security is a requirement. Not a mansion, 4 car garage, friends over every weekends, dish TV, two MA degrees coupled with a PhD. etc. Those are not requirements, nor real indicators of infinite financial security.

5) Our wagon is only filled with what you ask. As for your friends who are ‘looking,’ maybe they can share with you why this topic is important to some. Everybody cares about meeting someone they can love and have this love reciprocated. This is important. Few prefer to be with a person they despise. People hate uncertainty about their future. To create certainty of the unknown, rationality is attempted via questions that would give us a hint to better understanding of what maybe anticipated.

6) We do not know if you are crazy or not. We are sane (alhamdulillah). We always wish our audience members well. You are welcome to pursue any pathway that would ensure you a religiously brighter future — alone or with a family.

If you have no burning desire to get married and you are not distracted as a result of strange temptations, then more strength to you. May Allah give more of our youth the great strength He has given you, Ameen

Allah Certainly Knows Best.
