I had a question about fasting and menstruation.
If one is done with their period and has the intention of fasting the next day but waits to take their ghusal during Suhur. But they were not able to wake up and instead took their Ghusul in the morning. Does their fast count? if not can they break the fast if they already fasted for half day?

The fast counts. They would not be a need to break it (as a result of your ignorance.)

(For a person to intentionally take their bath after suhur whilst being in a state of janabat is NOT makrooh. You can eat and take your bath. Do it prior to the end of your fajr time.)
