Q: Since we are cutting 11 sheep can we give one sheep and payment to the helpers? Can we give a third of it to the slaughter house for chopping it up for us? Can we give the skin as payment?  Ahsanal Jazaa

A: According to Fatwa Shamiyah, one cannot give Qurbani meat as payment for services rendered.

If the helpers are muslim, you can gift them part of the meat. This gifting cannot be part of ones payment.

The skin can be sold, the money is to be given in sadaqah (charity) to the needy.
