Can we buy baby our clothes before a child is born. Jazakallah immaam

A: Under usual circumstances, one should not find out the gender of the child. If a parent needs to know the gender due to medical circumstances, the response as it relates to the gender of the child should be limited only to the parent that has the concern as it relates to the gender.

The clothing should not be limited to a specific gender and thus should be gender neutral.
