As we are all aware, there are many people in Ummah who do not eat as well as we do, no matter how simply we may think we eat. In addition to that, one of the fundamental goals of the qurbani of Eid al-Adha is to provide a portion of meat for those who are not as privileged, and indeed are malnourished.

With these main thoughts at the forefront of most people’s minds, many have been writing in to inquire about the possibilities for having their qurbani done overseas, yet don’t have anybody who can make such arrangements. For those of you who would like to do your share, or perhaps even an additional share (one here and one overseas), please do go to the Imam, as he can arrange your qurbani to be done abroad. The overseas qurbani rate is about $30 per share, so you can be of benefit to the Ummah while being kind to your pocketbook, alhamdulillah. (Admins will verify this amount with the Imam by Wednesday, inshaAllah.)
