Q: Asslamualaikum All praise due to Allah and peace & blessings upon the Prophet Salallahu Alayihi Wasallam, His family and companions peace be upon them all.

I need to ask about Ishraq prayer please. I normally pray it 20 minutes after sunrise after Fajr.
The Prophet (Salallahu Alayihi Wasallam) said: “whosoever offeres Fajr prayer in congregation, then remains seated making zikar of Allah until the sun rises, and thereafter offers two rakaats, they will receive the reward of performing a Hajj and Umrah”. Is reward for men who pray in congregation or is for women as well who pray at home?

For men it would be best to perform their fajr salah at the musjid. They can do their azkar as they await the time of ishraq. This would prove virtues.

As for woman, the ishraq would be performed at home in the privacy of her home. The reward for her would be no different. Her sincerity can attain her a higher reward.
