Q: what is your opinion of people that go from mosque to mosque listening to duas  and quran completions seeking dua thinking this dua would be accepted? (text)
Answer: Imaan is not based on duas alone. Nor is it based on listening to mere recitals.  It is based on intention coupled with action based upon sound Aqeedah. Saying Ameen to every prayer is not going to make anyone necessarily a good muslim/ah. Rather, saying Amen and not reforming ones ways can lead towards greater sin and hypocrisy.

Example: ‘oh Allah (SWT) save me from gambling and alcohol.’ Thereafter a person books a night at the casino. Such Ameens only warrant if not demands the Wrath of Allah (SWT.)
