السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Alhamdulillah, we have been blessed to sight the hilal of Dhul Hijjah here at Khadija Masjid. Seven individuals observed this new moon here, and so Dhul Hijjah begins tonight, with the first day of Dhul Hijjah beign September 3, 2016. As such, Eid al Adha will be on September 12, 2016, and prayer timings will be as follows, inshaAllah:
Prayer 1: 7:00 am
Prayer 2: 8:30 am.
Please allow 45 to 55 minutes for each session. This would include Takbeer, an English speech, Eid salaah, and a brief Arabic Khutba, as well as time to greet your fellow Muslim brothers and sisters.
We wish each of you a blessed Eid!
