Q: Muhammed  Shoayb,
I called tonight “December 4th” at about 8:30 to ask you some questions, you were as informative and courteous as I could have hoped. Unfortunately my phone dropped the call in the middle of your explanation to me of what you thought the self perception of Muslims should be and I was unable to get re-connected with you. I do hope that you did not feel that I had left the conversation on purpose with no courtesies or goodbyes. I appreciated your time and expertise, if you would not mind I would love to hear the rest of what you were saying in regards to the self perception of Muslims. Also, if you would like, I would be happy to send you a copy of my report once it is finished.
Thank you once again for your time.

website business good? bad?

Q: I have a website business and part of it represents placing advert-banners on it. Alhamdulillah imam Allah has been very kind to me. I am blessed with the ni’mat of imaan. Now that I have come back from hajj I have this fear of haram and halal that has over taken me.  Is it permissible for me to accept money from advertises? Most of the companies I represent are in the stock market. They openly deal in Riba, alcohol, the major casinos of Vegas and the entertainment industry and these companies promote these things. I do have another job I can turn to which would provide a modest income. So if it is haram say it as it is. If halal fine too. (Willwait4urAnswer) Continue Reading →
