Q: I have a question sir, “My brother died last year at the age of 26, he was doing a private job n earning good, but he did not possessed the nisab amount on his own , so qurbani was not wajib on him. Can i do qurbani for him ? and can i share the same qurbani for other deceased relatives?

May Allah grant your brother ( and bothers and sisters) the best of paradise, Ameen. They are sure missed this time of year. May Allah (SWT) make it easy for all, Ameen.

Answer1: Yes you may do a sacrifice(s) for your brother, etc. Request Allah the Greatest to send the reward to your brother for sacrificing the animal on your brothers behalf.

Answer2: You may also do a sacrifice for those that have passed away with the following intention: Oh Allah distribute the reward of this animal sacrifice to person x, person y and person z, etc.
