To ask for forgiveness is itself a blessing. Had there been no one to ask for forgiveness, we would all been destroyed and replaced by a group that would do justice in asking Allah (SWT) for His forgiveness (paraphrased-hadith). Forgiveness is a continual process. For some it also requires changing your environment, for environment too plays a role in contributing towards repeat offenses.

Kindly read this as well as the response embedded in this given response. May Allah (SWT) make matters easy for you and all those that are seeking positive change, Ameen.
