Q:
Alsalaam alyikum sheikh,
what is the ruling of Suiciding in Islam? would allah forgive the person depending on their situation? how can a muslim prevent falling into such action? would you be a sinful if u just thing about it?

*Understand the value of life and that Allah has us in certain situations to make us stronger. We must not cower. Likewise, we must seek help in the proper areas for matters that pertain to us.

* To merely have a thought go through your heart would not be a sin. To have thoughts dominate your thinking/time could lead to sin. As muslims/humans we must have thoughts that make us to good things, not incline us towards negativity.
