just want to know………does zakat becomes void if one is not able to pay thier parents(rich) for eid expenses?

A person not assisting their parents when children have the wealth to do so would be viewed as sinful.  You would thus be deprived of the Mercy of Allah (SWT).

Your zakat would not become void if you are neglectful in your parental duties.
