Q: A child was born and died. the father on the way to the hospital. regarding the inheritance since both are dead, I heard in a speech on the importance of requesting rightly. how to best distribute ? (text)

A: If the child made a sound, took a breath, sneezed or made some clear motion of life, then such a child would be considered alive. Should this be the case, the following would need to be noted:

• Had the father died prior to the birth of this child, then naturally the child would not inherit.

• Had the father died after the child’s birth, the child would inherit. Since the child died after the father, the child’s inherited portion would now be distributed as per religion.
