Q. As-salamu Alaykum Imam,

Say a sister while during salah (to be specific Jumu’ah salah 2nd rakat) gets her menstrual cycle; what does she do continue and finish her salah, Say her salam and end it there.
jazakallahu khairan in advance for answering! this just recently happened to me, and I was really confused, so I stayed in salah, finished it with the imam, made dua prayer for it to be accepted.
Would my salah be accepted? the intentions and everything were set before the menstruation came in?

She would end her salah. She would excuse herself from the prayer. If this is not possible, then she would merely make salam and sit down. She would not continue in this state of impurity.

Merely make up that prayer as zohr once menses is over.

Ameen to your duas, may Allah shower His mercy upon you and all those you love, Ameen.

Allah certainly knows best.

p.s. prior to a woman having her menses, some women have a signal that it is to occur. Cramping, etc. She should be sensitive to her body. Best for her to stand in an area that would allow her to excuse herself with maximum ease.
