Q:
Asalamu alaykum
My mom says I sleep to much and it’s not good for me. She says Islam is even against it. Is this true?

You have not indicated how much is defined as too much in comparison to a normal human around your age, etc.
Suffice to say, anything done in excess is best to be abstained from. Islam is a religion of balance. A Muslim should strive to attain balance in all they do. Be it loving a partner, studying, eating, drinking, playing, praying, working, giving charity, as well as sleeping.
To do things in excess takes away the joy of that given task (or function) and at times reduces its appreciation and meaning for that which is being is being done. I.e. eating, etc.
Practice balance, and your mother (and those around you) would become a better friend towards you. People like people that have balance in their lives.
Allah Certainly Knows Best.
