Q. on the issue of salam. does it say anywhere in Islam we must not make salam to a disbeliever? I heard this in my country. Is this true? (personal email box)

A: Under the general circumstances pertaining to the rule of ?????? ?????, you are most correct to think as such.  It would be most preferred to only say ?????? to a nonbeliever.

If you feel it would be rude to the non-believer that you are refraining from the complete Salam, you may add the following instead:   ?????? ??? ?? ???? ????? (salutations upon the one who follows the guided pathway.)
